Pumpkin Pie Dip

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup confectioners sugar

4 oz whip cream (you may whip it yourself or buy pre-made)

15 oz canned pumpkin

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp ground ginger


Check that your cream cheese is completely softened, prior to starting recipe. In an electric mixer, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar. Then add your whipped cream, pumpkin, cinnamon and ginger. Scrape down bowl to ensure all ingredients are mixed thoroughly. Mix 1 more minute to mix completely. Serve in a small bowl with apple slices, pear slices and/or ginger snap cookies for dipping. Enjoy!


*Alternatively, if you don't have a mixer, you can try to make this in a blender or by hand using a good whisk and a lot of arm muscle.
