Fig & Blue Cheese Tarts

These are super delicious bites to put out at your next party. Creamy cheese mixture, sweet figs & orange mix together for the perfect party appetizer!

4 oz Cream Cheese

2/3 cup Blue Cheese

1/4 cup Orange Marmalade

2 TBSP Balsamic Vinegar

1/2 cup Dried Mission Figs

16 oz Crescent Roll Dough

1/2 cup Chopped Pecans

Chop your figs finely. Mix them together with the orange marmalade & the balsamic vinegar into a small pot on the stove. Heat on low and stir occasionally for 5 to 10 minutes until figs begin to soften. Once softened, take off heat & set aside.

Mix together both cheeses and set aside.

Preheat oven to 350 deg F.

Take each can of crescent roll dough and ignore the perforated marks. Keep them in their roll log shape and slice each roll horizontally into 12 equal slices to make 12 rounds. Set each round onto a greased foiled lined cookie sheet. Gently indent each round in the center to create a "well". Place a tsp of cheese into each well. Follow with a tbsp or so of fig mixture. Finally sprinkle each round with chopped pecans.

Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes, begin careful to watch it carefully the last 5 minutes and take out as soon as they're golden brown.
